Through a series of daring escapades deep within a dark and dangerous criminal underworld, Han Solo meets his mighty co-pilot Chewbacca and encounters the notorious gambler Lando Calrissian. This epic journey sets the course of the Star Wars saga's most unlikely heroes, as they seek to clear their debt to a dangerous criminal cabal.
The film is directed by Academy Award winner(r) Ron Howard and is produced by Lucasfilm, from a screenplay by Jonathon and Lawrence Kasdan. Solo: A Star Wars Story is the second of the Star Wars anthology films, following 2016 Rogue One. The film stars Alen Ehrenreich as Han Solo, Academy Award(r) winner Linda Hunt, Academy Award(r) nominee Woody Harrelson, Golden Globe Award(r) winner Donald Glover, Emilia Clarke and Joonas Suotamo.
