Justin Beiber to cover up tattoo of Selena Gomez

Justin Bieber has promised his fiancee Hailey Baldwin that he will cover up the tattoo he has of his ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez.

The Sorry hitmaker got the 25-year-old singer's face inked on his wrist back in 2013 - a year after they started dating - but now that he's engaged to the blonde model he's decided he needs to get the artwork removed before they walk down the aisle.

A source told The Sun Online: "Justin's already got plans to get rid of the tattoo. He's tried to get it partially covered up before, but this time he's determined to get rid of it for good. He's going to his regular tattoo artist, Bang Bang, to get something inked over the top. I think he wants it gone in time for the wedding to Hailey."

This isn't the first time the 24-year-old hunk has toyed with the idea of getting rid of the tribute as he previously said that he was planning to cover it up following his split with Selena in 2015.

He said at the time: "This is my ex-girlfriend. So, I tried to cut her face up with some shading, but people still know."

However, they later got back together and he ditched his plans to erase the artwork.

Justin popped the question to Hailey after five weeks of dating during a romantic getaway to the Bahamas last weekend and the couple have already decided they want an "intimate ceremony" in his native Canada.

Word travels fast

Confirming that he had proposed to the 21-year-old model, Justin wrote on Instagram: "Was gonna wait awhile to say anything but word travels fast, listen plain and simple, Hailey I am soooo in love with everything about you!

"So committed to spending my life getting to know every single part of you loving you patiently and kindly. I promise to lead our family with honour and integrity letting Jesus through his Holy Spirit guide us in everything we do and every decision we make.

"My heart is completely and fully yours, and I will always put you first! You are the love of my life Hailey Baldwin and I wouldn't want to spend it with anybody else. You make me so much better and we complement each other so well! God's timing really is literally perfect, we got engaged on the seventh day of the seventh month, the number seven is the number of spiritual perfection, it's true GOOGLE IT! Isn't that nuts? By the way I didn't plan that, anyway My goodness does feel good to have our future secured!
