The Darkest Minds | Own your power

Adapted from Alexandra Bracken's young adult novel series of the same name, The Darkest Minds follows a group of teens who are imprisoned by an adult world that fears the secret powers of anyone under 18.

Sixteen-year-old Ruby, one of the most powerful young people anyone has encountered, escapes her camp and joins a group of runaway teens seeking safe haven. Soon, this new-found family realises that, in a world in which the adults in power have betrayed them, running is not enough and they must wage a resistance, using their collective power to take back control of their future.

The film is directed by Jennifer Yuh Nelson, written by Chad Hodge and stars Amandla Stenberg, Mandy Moore, and Gwendoline Christie.
