The Met: Live in HD 2018-19 season in cinemas begins on October 14, 2018, with encore showings only at Palace Cineplex, Sovereign Centre, Liguanea.
Opera fans will be delighted with the first of the eleven transmissions and what promises to be one of the highlights of the new season - Verdi's Aida, starring opera superstar Anna Netrebko in her debut as the Ethiopian princess of the same name.
Entering its 13th season, The Met: Live in HD is an award winning series, showcasing New York's esteemed Met Opera with its casts of celebrated artistes and rising stars. The spectacular 2018-19 season will also include four new productions and a special holiday encore of the 2006 broadcast of The Magic Flute.
