Walt Disney Pictures adaption of the celebrated classic The Nutcracker is breathtaking cinema at its best and an epitome of the world of magical fantasy so emblematic of this near-century-old production company.

There are troubled realms in our world, and only one girl has the key to restoring harmony to the unstable lands. The Nutcracker and The Four Realms follows the adventures of Clara as she goes in search of a key to unlock a box that contains a gift from her mother. At her godfather Drosselmeyer's annual holiday party, a gold thread leads her to the key, but it immediately vanishes into a strange parallel world. Clara will have to visit its dangerous Fourth Realm to retrieve her key and, hopefully, return harmony to the world.

Directed by Lasse Hallstrom and Joe Johnston, The Nutcracker and the Four Realms is a retelling of E. T. A. Hoffmann's short story The Nutcracker and the Mouse King and Marius Petipa's The Nutcracker. This colourful Christmas classic stars Academy Award winners Hellen Mirren and Morgan Freeman, Keira Knightley, Tom Sweet, and Mackenzie Foy as Clara. Set design is by Guy Hendrix Dyas, two-time Oscar-nominated production designer (Inception and Passengers).
