Captain Marvel - 3D | Who is a warrior hero?

Set in the 1990s, Marvel Studios’ Captain Marvel is an all-new adventure from a previously unseen period in the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe that follows the journey of Carol Danvers, as she becomes one of the universe’s most powerful heroes.

While a galactic war between two alien races reaches Earth, Danvers finds herself and a small cadre of allies at the centre of the maelstrom. Captain Marvel marks the big screen début of Carol Danvers, played in the Marvel Cinematic Universe by Academy Award winner, Brie Larson. In the comics, Danvers was a test pilot who gained super strength and the ability to fly after being caught in an explosion with a Kree device.

Mississipi Grindhelmers, Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck are directing from a script written by Geneva Robertson-Dworet, Nicole Perlman and Meg LeFauve. Captain Marvelalso stars Academy Award nominees Samuel L. Jackson, Jude Law and Djimon Hounsou, along with Ben Mendelsohn, Lee Pace, Lashana Lynch, Gemma Chan and Golden Globe winner Annette Bening, among others.
