Michael Bolton to join Beres Hammond for Groovin’ in the Park 2019

He is the biggest and most accomplished artiste to have been booked to grace the stage of Groovin’ In The Park. In the event’s 9th year, crooner Michael Bolton will join lovers rock king Beres Hammond as the festival unfolds on Sunday, June 30 at Roy Wilkins Park in Queens, NY.

A multi-Grammy award-winning, international superstar who has sold more than 53 million albums and singles worldwide, Bolton began his iconic career at the age of 16. He took home his first Grammy 18 years later, for ‘Best Pop Vocal Performance Make’ for the single, How Am I Supposed To Love you. That year, he made his debut on the Grammy stage performing the song with Kenny G. Bolton’s powerful vocals have since graced some of the biggest songs and albums of our time, including Soul Provider, which sold more than 12.5 million copies worldwide. The disc showcased several chart-toppers, including the #1 hit single, How Am I Supposed to Live Without You, which earned him a Grammy Award.

His most recent album, A Symphony of Hits, chronicles his 50-year legacy in the music industry. The album was recorded in Australia with the West Australian Full Harmonic Orchestra. Bolton has as his list of accomplishments two Grammy Awards, six American Music Awards, and a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. As a songwriter, he has earned over 24 BMI & ASCAP Awards, including ‘Songwriter of the Year,’ ‘9 Million-Air awards,’ and the ‘Hitmakers Award’ from the Songwriters Hall of Fame.

This is Hammond’s third time performing at Groovin’ In The Park. He is ripe for another stellar set, so fans can fasten their seat belts and prepare to Rock Away to some sweet, soulful, reggae music. “We are very, very excited to welcome Beres Hammond to Groovin’ In The Park for the third time. He has delivered excellent performances twice before, pounding the park with his chart-topping sing-along list of love songs. Hammond, supported by his Harmony House Band, is expected to thrill fans with classic hits like: Rockaway, In Love With You, What One Dance Can Do, She Loves Me Not, Step Aside, Double Trouble and Putting Up Resistance.
