A World War II satire

A World War II satire that follows a lonely German boy named Jojo whose world view is turned upside down when he discovers his single mother is hiding a young Jewish girl in their attic. Aided only by his idiotic imaginary friend, Adolf Hitler, Jojo must confront his blind nationalism.

Jojo Rabbit is an American comedy-drama written and directed by Academy Award nominee Taika Waititi, based on Christine Leunens’s book Caging Skies. Roman Griffin Davis portrays the title character, Johannes ‘Jojo’ Betzler, while Academy Award nominee Scarlett Johansson stars as his mother, and Thomasin McKenzie as the young Jewish girl. The film also stars Rebel Wilson, Stephen Merchant, Alfie Allen, and Academy Award winner Sam Rockwell.
