Sunday’s episode of ‘Rolling with Deiwght Peters’ will feature Parisa Fitz-Henley.

Rolling with Deiwght Peters, the Television Jamaica Sunday afternoon feature will see the host get comfy with his friend of over 20 years, Hollywood actress Parisa Fitz-Henley.

The Jamaica-born actress, who amassed millions of fans around the world for her Lifetime television movie portrayal of Megan Markle, is divulging the behind-the-scenes stories of her rising success.

Fitz-Henley, whose role in Harry and Meghan: A Royal Romance as the famous American actress-turned-European princess delivered Lifetime its highest-rated movie in 2018 (with over 2.2 million viewers in the US alone), has a decadelong résumé.

It includes performances in such films as the recent action comedy My Spy, and supernatural drama Fantasy Island, and TV roles in Luke Cage, Jessica Jones, Grey’s Anatomy, Blue Bloods, CSI: NY, House of Cards and The Sinner. Her featured role as Fiji Cavanaugh in NBC’s hit drama supernatural series Midnight Texas bolstered her resume and made her a bona fide star.

“Parisa’s acting accomplishments are impressive and her talent undeniable. It only made natural sense to have her as my guest to celebrate her and spotlight the major strides she’s made in a field that she is happy about and using that platform for good,” Peters told The Gleaner. “Her career is definitely on an upward trajectory, and I was delighted that she agreed to Zoom in and exclusively share vignettes of her life with us on Rolling with Deiwght Peters,” he added.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Viewers can expect light-hearted stories about how she bagged the Lifetime Movies role as Meghan Markle and the experience shooting the much-talked-about feature film which was strategically premiered during the frenzied countdown to the real royal wedding between England’s Prince Harry and his then American wife-to-be.

News emerged last month in Hollywood that Fitz-Henley has been cast in a lead role as a surgeon for a pilot in a new ABC medical drama, Triage. The Jamaican-American actress will be joined in the anticipated TV show by famous stars Michael Ealy, Jamie-Lynn Sigler and Vondie Curtis-Hall.

Rolling with Deiwght Peters airs at 4 p.m. EST and on the 1spotmedia app. Guests include Wayne Messam, mayor of Miramar, Florida and SAINT male supermodel, Romaine Dixon, whose groundbreaking and meteoric rise in the international fashion industry has already seen him fronting global advertising campaigns for such luxury labels as Dior, Fendi and Hugo Boss.
