Dancehall artiste, Dovey Magnum, is being held at a US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) detention facility in Atlanta, Georgia.

A search conducted by THE STAR via ICE's online detainee locator system revealed that the Bawl Out singer, born Simsky Kimberly Harrison, is in custody at the Stewart Detention Centre in the state. It is alleged that the entertainer was detained for immigration violations, but THE STAR was unable to confirm the claim as the website did not give any details on the specifics of the case.

Dovey Magnum's detainment means the singer may be unable to attend Purity's All White weekend bash in Florida which is slated to take place on Sunday. She was scheduled to headline the event alongside Dexta Daps.

A written request to interview Harrison has been sent to ICE's Atlanta field office. According to the ICE website, the media could be granted permission to interview a detainee by sending a written request to ICE's Office of Enforcement and Removal Operations. The detainee, however, reserves the right to deny such a request.
