HELD OVER

No Time to Die

Everything has led to this

No Time to Die enters its sixth big week at Palace Amusement cinemas, as movie fans continue to say a resounding yes to this film, which is arguably an unparalleled Bond movie.

Here’s some of the buzz that continues to make No Time To Die a go-to movie.

Daniel Craig, who stepped boldly into the role of Agent 007 15 years ago in Casino Royale, has firmly said that he will not reprise his role as Bond. He has earned respect in the coveted role and has been credited with embodying rugged masculinity and a new emotional depth, making him unique among all the highly regarded actors who have played the role over the years.

Bond is back on home soil in Jamaica, with picturesque scenes showcasing Port Antonio, two amazing British-Jamaican actress – Lashana Lynch as Nomi, the first double-07 agent and Academy Award nominee, Naomie Harris, in her third role as Moneypenny – and a great soundtrack featuring Jamaican music. Jamaica also doubled for Cuba in the movie.

In No Time To Die, Bond (Daniel Craig) has left active service and is enjoying a tranquil life in Jamaica. His peace is short-lived when his old friend Felix Leiter from the CIA turns up asking for help. The mission turns out to be far more treacherous than expected, leading Bond on to the trail of a mysterious villain armed with dangerous new technology.

The film is directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga and stars Daniel Craig, Rami Malek, Léa Seydoux, Lashana Lynch, Ben Whishaw, Academy Award nominee, Naomie Harris, Jeffrey Wright, Christoph Waltz, Academy Award winner Ralph Fiennes, Ana de Armas, Billy Magnussen, Rory Kinnear, David Dencik and Dali Benssalah.

No Time to Die is based on James Bond, by Ian Fleming and is partially filmed in Jamaica. It is produced by Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli. Music is by Hans Zimmer.
