Miss Universe Jamaica announces Top 3

The 2022 Miss Universe Jamaica Beauty, Fashion and Wellness Pageant is close to crowning a new queen.

The top three contestants were named a short while ago inside the Grand Ballroom at the AC Hotel Kingston. They are Miss Millennium Paving Stones Ltd Rachel Silvera, Miss Giajay Natural Gift & Body Shop Toshami Calvin and Miss WiPay Jamaica Shanique Singh.

The pageant opened with a hair and make-up show presented by students of the Heart College of Beauty Services to show the true essence of Jamaica 60 style.

The semi-finalists also performed choreography to Ding Dong’s Bounce.

Miss Universe Jamaica 2022 will represent Jamaica at the 2022 Miss Universe pageant. The official date and host country have not yet been released; however, the Miss Universe Organization has informed its national directors that the next staging of the pageant will be held in the first quarter of 2023.

Earlier the 20 semi-finalists vying for a spot were narrowed down to 10, including Silvera, Calvin, and Singh. Miss Donna’s Caribbean Restaurant Ayisha Hemmings, Miss Datum Construction Jillian Taylor, Miss Curves Catherine Harris, Miss Beauty Mark Limited Thalia Malcolm, Miss Klean Skin & Spa Celine Walters, Miss Alletias Beauty Retreat Kasey Graham, and Miss How We Rowes Cook Tasheka Rowe completed the list.

Silvera, Calvin, Hemmings, Singh and Taylor were named to the top five.
