Chi Ching Ching excited about new Red Stripe brand ambassador role
Beer giant Red Stripe has named Chi Ching Ching as the face of its newest product, Red Stripe Tall Boss, in a move will see the entertainer representing the brand for a year in advertising campaigns and bringing his musical stylings to the campaign with a jingle and participating in pop-ups.
Speaking about the opportunity as Red Stripe Tall Boss took over the Mandela Park in Half-Way Tree recently, the Roast and Fry hitmaker said he was excited about the partnership.
“As a ghetto yute from Jungle, I’m truly happy about this endorsement. Inna 2023, fi get a new Red Stripe bottle, a history dis and I’m happy to be a part of it. Red Stripe me love di vision and fi a tall yute like me weh grow up awkward because me taller than everybody and fi a brand like Red Stripe embrace me fi this, is a good feeling,” Chi Ching Ching said.
With plans to reconnect the artiste with consumers and his fan base, there are several activations in the works.
“We a guh do about 15 bar hops across the island fi bring di vibes so me really a look forward to dat. It’s a lot in store and me really ah go put my all inna it just fi ensure a successful brand partnership,” declared Chi Ching Ching.
Red Stripe’s brand manager Nathan Nelms is equally excited to have the artiste onboard. “Chi Ching Ching was the perfect fit to be the face of Red Stripe Tall Boss. He’s full of energy and excitement that would connect effectively with our consumers. The launch of Tall Boss was a part of our innovation strategy as we wanted to give consumers wider options while maintaining affordability and accessibility,” explained Nelms.
Off the heels of his recent hit, Jiggy, Chi Ching Ching shared what’s to come musically. “I linked up with Voicemail for the remix [of Jiggy] so look out for the video soon. I also have a collab with Laalee and another with Delomar from RDX. Me have nuff new music and a mad ting fi release soon weh Anju Blacks and Jellybads produced and a few more from Frankie music,” he said.
With a solid start to 2023 a European and Latin American tour lined up, and the release of new music from his own Amere Entertainment label, Chi Ching Ching is energised about the future.
