Grammy Award-winning reggae artiste Kabaka Pyramid took the stage by storm during his electrifying performance aboard the eighth annual Welcome to JamRock Cruise.

Introduced to the sold-out crowd by renowned radio personality Richie B, the night was dubbed a celebration of Kabaka’s recent Grammy win for Best Reggae Album.

Expressing his gratitude for the unwavering support of the JamRock cruisers, Kabaka Pyramid kicked off his captivating set with Faded Away, setting the tone for an unforgettable evening. As he performed, the crowd’s enthusiasm reached new heights, resulting in numerous requests to “pull up” and sing certain songs again.

Among the standout tracks that garnered tremendous applause were Stand Up, Mi Alright and Nice up the Dance. Kabaka also showcased the power of reggae music by inviting the first-time JamRock Clash winner, Oga from Japan of Jah Works sound, to join him on stage. Kabaka acknowledged Oga’s role in the success of one of his singles on the international scene titled Reggae Music.

Additionally, Kabaka Pyramid’s performance featured a series of special guest appearances of collaborators from his Grammy Award-winning album, The Kalling. Accompanied by Grammy-winning artiste and producer Damian Marley, the duo delivered a synergistic rendition of Red Gold and Green. Rising star Jemere Morgan also took the stage with Kabaka to perform their collaboration, Grateful, while the talented Tifa joined him for an energetic rendition of Mr Rastaman.

Fans of Kabaka Pyramid were thrilled with his performance and expressed their appreciation for his impactful music.
