Miss World Czech Republic Krystyna Pyszkova is the 71st Miss World!

Pyszkova was crowned on Saturday at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai, India.

The 24-year-old is a student, volunteer, international model. She speaks four languages: English, Polish, Slovak, and German, and is currently studying for two degrees in both law and business administration.

A total of 112 candidates participated in the competition, which saw Miss World-turned-professional entertainer Toni-Ann Singh perform on stage.

Yasmina Zaytoun from Lebanon was the first runner-up.

Trinidad and Tobago's Aché Abrahams, who made it to the Top 4 along with Botswana's Lesego Chombo, took home the title of Caribbean Queen.

Miss Jamaica World Shanique Singh did not make it to the Top 40.

In video posted to her personal Instagram, she thanked Jamaicans for their support. "I hope I made you proud. I did my utmost best to represent you guys to the highest of my abilities because that is what you all deserve as such a beautiful nation."
