Grammy-nominated dancehall artiste, Spice, recently unveiled her latest single and music video, Round Round, featuring rap star Busta Rhymes.

The single, accompanied by the rustic music video directed by Sergio Parra, features Spice and Busta Rhymes in a barn-themed dance setting complete with cowgirl dancers. The track showcases Spice’s signature dancehall influence blended with a unique country, alternative sound with a hip hop flair.

Poised as the lead single from her upcoming album, Mirror 25, Spice’s team is hopeful that the collaboration with the 12-time Grammy-nominated rap legend, will serve as “the soundtrack of the summer”.

On this track, Spice ensures that she stays true to her roots in dancehall, infusing her influential sound with a mixture of hip-hop and country music. Written by Spice, and produced by Spice Official Entertainment, the rhythm track was composed by Keron ‘Yow Levite’ Young, and mastered by Redboom Super Mix. Round Round was recorded at Ireland Recording Studios.

“Working with the legendary Busta Rhymes on my new song “Round and Round” was an absolute pleasure,” said Spice. “I am elated to have this opportunity for us to join together on the mission of pushing Jamaican culture around the world. I can’t wait for everyone to feel the magic we’ve created together. Grab your cowboy hats and let’s have fun together.”

Spice is set to release her introspective new album, Mirror 25, this summer through her label, Spice Official Entertainment with distribution through Empire.

“The album will be a raw, open diary of Spice’s tribulations and triumphs and a look into the past and future of her steady impact, all while commemorating her 25 years in the industry as an international recording artiste,” Spice’s team said in a press release.
