Wife gifted a $10 million lottery ticket for Valentine’s Day

Maria Chicas was given a multimillion-dollar winning ticket for the Virginia Lottery by her husband.

She said: “I thought he was joking,” however, on closer inspection, he was correct as the ticket – which was purchased a few days before love’s big day – was worth 10 million big ones, the last of a few out in the wild."

After claiming her winning ticket, Maria was offered to take it one lump sum or to get it over 30 years. She opted to get the prize in one payment.
