With the balmy summer evenings coming to an end, Hamilton's Smokehouse invited their customers and friends to connect during an evening dominated by delicious food and tasty drinks.

Held at Uncorked wine, cheese and speciality food restaurant, Hamilton's Smokehouse continued their Summer Nites and Summer Bites promotion with guests indulging in the delectable taste of Uncorked signature Hamilton's Smokehouse Andouille Sausage Burger.

According to Hamilton's Smokehouse's Brand Officer Ryan Evelyn, the Summer Nites and Summer Bites promotion highlights the quality of their products and give guests the opportunity to enjoy their summer nights with yummy, mouth-watering meals.

"On July 15, we started our promotion where we partnered with a number of restaurants like Pizza Please, Rituals Cafe, Pier 1 and Cafe blue - who offered signature Hamilton's Smokehouse meals at specially reduced prices for six weeks. The overall experience is amazing and patrons get to sample the signature dishes and connect with our relationship managers," Evelyn shared.

For our palatable pleasure, Food was treated to the juicy, scrumptious taste of Andouille sausage burger smothered with creole remoulade and topped with sweet onions and mango salsa to satisfy the taste buds. The 'food love' did not stop there as we also got a taste of Uncorked's famous 'World Record Hot Dog'. This fantastic dog combined three well-loved ingredients bacon, fried plantain and sausage.

"When Hamilton's Smokehouse approached us to do something extra special for the Olympic season, we thought the Andouille burger was the right fit. We wanted to do something out of the box, and after tasting the sausage, it has the perfect spice and jerk sauce to be added to the Jamaica palate. We also added the mango salsa to cool down the taste buds," Gillian Ferguson, general manager of Uncorked, told Food.

She went on to explain that with the Olympics under way, they thought of another perfect meal for the season. "Hot dogs are a popular item so we decided to put our Jamaican twist to the traditional hot dog," she continued.

The evening continued with plenty of laughter and memorable dishes and the joy of seeing Jamaica's Usain Bolt win the men's 200-metre finals at the Olympic Games. It was indeed a night to remember.
