What was once a 'beach' football field was recently renovated by Appleton Estate Rum to create the ultimate getaway after a long day at work. The 13 East Kings House Road location is now the ideal place to grab a drink and hang out with friends, or even host an informal meeting for your next big idea.

Barbican Beach Bar, a central location for activities within the community since 2014, boasts a white sandy beach and facilities made of wooden structures and thatched roofing. Serving a delectable assortment of hors d'oeuvre and main entrÈes, its zesty chicken wings paired with an in house barbecue sauce creates a savoury symphony of flavours meant to delight the palate. This is expertly accompanied by a cold glass of rumpari with a splash of lime juice.

Known for their signature jerk dishes, the Beach Bar also serves moist and jerk chicken and pork which can be enjoyed at the bar with your choice of cocktail made with Wray and Nephew Rum or Appleton's Signature Blend.

"Having Appleton on board has made a significant difference with our bar. They completely renovated the space making it more attractive, and we have more customers coming to us now," explained operation manager, Nicole Smith. In their previous operations, Barbican Beach Bar was not able to sell liquor. Their partnership with Appleton has now made it possible to invite a wider range of customers.

"We have meals that can be enjoyed by everyone. We serve both alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages. It is the perfect place to relax and unwind with friends or even have a family dinner," she said about Barbican Beach, which is also a family oriented establishment,

And if you're looking to end the week with a bang, then indulge in the restaurant's steak and karaoke every Friday night.
