Grace Foods will establish a dedicated ‘home away from home’ in the Jamaica Olympic Association’s (JOA) booth at Puma House for the 2024 Paris Olympic Games. This exclusive area will serve as a platform for athletes and fans alike to indulge in a ‘Taste of Jamaica’.

“We are excited to bring a piece of Jamaica to Paris. Our products will not only nourish the athletes but also bring them the flavours of home, boosting their spirits as they compete,” said Dave DaCosta, managing director of Grace Foods Limited.

As the official JOA nutrition partner, Grace Foods will provide the Jamaican Olympic team with full access to their favourite Jamaican products and flavours at the Olympic Village.

Grace Foods along with First Global Bank, the banking subsidiary of the GraceKennedy Group, has announced a $75-million, four-year partnership with the JOA ahead of the 2024 Paris Olympic Games. The announcement was made during the launch of JOA’s Olympic Games 2024 campaign at the Terra Nova Hotel on May 16.

DaCosta shared the news, stating that GraceKennedy is honoured to stand alongside the JOA as one of its official partners. “This partnership represents more than just a financial commitment; it reflects our shared values of excellence, perseverance, and national pride,” DaCosta said.

The partnership, which spans over four years, will extend beyond the upcoming 2024 Paris Olympic Games to include the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games and the upcoming Youth Summer Olympics and the Pan American Games.

First Global Bank will be the official JOA banking partner.

According to DaCosta, the partnership underscores GraceKennedy’s long-standing dedication to Jamaica, and highlights its commitment to supporting the nation’s sporting heroes, driving economic and social development, and celebrating the indomitable spirit of Jamaica.
