Fit 4 Life | Definitely some sweet, sweet energy
Talk about sweet energy! Wow! The Sweet Energy Fitness Club definitely knows how to energise a workout session and keep participants high on adrenaline, with a series of full-body exercises that worked you to the core.
On Saturday at Jacaranda Homes in Innswood, St Catherine, the six-member Sweet Energy team, headed by director Anthony Kepple, was in no play play mood, as their circuit-series boot camp truly tested each participant's fitness level.
The boot camp entailed a series of workouts, from the warm-up laps, straight into the circuit that included cardio, tyre flip, multiple abs works, travel push up, jump rope, weight squats, medicine ball flip, battle rope, and more.
Fitness instructor Robert Whyte kept the hearts and adrenaline pumping.
And it still wasn't over. Dance instructor Junior Endevarous took participants through all the latest high-energy dance moves that worked every muscle.
After participants flopped to the floor from the adrenaline crash, Fit 4 Life sponsors Foska Oats and Blue Diamond Almond Milk re-energised everyone with their delicious and nutritious power shakes.
Throughout the morning, everyone kept hydrated, thanks to Fit 4 Life sponsor, WATA.
Test-your-fitness-level challenges
The break wasn't for long, as three gruelling test-your-fitness-level challenges were next - the battle rope challenge, tyre pull challenge and the hammer drill challenge.
Wow! Those were some challenges! And the challengers were determined to give it their all for the many prizes up for grabs.
The fittest of the fit earned prizes such as: a phone and phone credit from FLOW, gift baskets from sponsors Foska Oats and Blue Diamond Almond Milk, Fit 4 Life T-Shirts and water bottles, and Gleaner-branded merchandise.
Everyone also got handouts, with nutrition and exercise tips courtesy of Fit 4 Life, and complimentary Gleaner.
Nuff respect to Lisa Findley, Kepple and the Sweet Energy Fitness team.
