Women’s Health | ‘Now We No’ Awareness campaigns for women and young girls

Every year we celebrate women's strengths, passion, determination, purpose and their ability to rise above all odds with their heads held high. But what about the strength of a woman in taking charge of her body, her health?

Now is the time for all women to know what they are exposed to and how the toxicity in the environment, and even the most commonly used consumable products, can have an adverse effect on their bodies.

So, let me ask, if I had information that could greatly improve or save your life or the life of a person you love, would you listen?

Our wives, daughters, mothers, aunts and sisters deserve the right to hear and the choice not just to live, but to live a healthy life.

The average woman will use approximately 11,000-plus sanitary napkins or more in their lifetime. While this usage has become a part of the monthly routine for women across the globe, what is unknown is the negative effects its use can have on women's health.

The use of tampons are even worse, as they restrict the natural flow of a woman, ultimately resulting in the high incidence of toxic shock syndrome and other health-related problems, such as a possible increase in the development of tumors and fibroids.

Additionally, many of these sanitary products are made out of inexpensive recycled materials. Because of the eight-step bleaching process that a lot of sanitary napkins go through, there proposes another risk of being exposed to another chemical called 'dioxin' which is far deadlier than arsenic and is a known carcinogenic. Many of the issues that women have been suffering with in silence are coming from years of being exposed to these chemicals.

HARMFUL EFFECTS

The NowWeNo ( www.nowweno.net ) movement is an awareness campaign that educates our men, women and young girls about the harmful effects presented by the most popular sanitary napkin and tampon brands on the market today. This mission is the brainchild of Nspire Network's founders, and it goes along with their philosophy of helping people take charge of their own lives through education.

In addition to making the public aware, the awareness campaign also offers a potential sanitary solution called Cherish Premium Sanitary Napkins, which can help to alleviate many of the life-threatening issues that so many women face.

This is due to the fact that it is made up of 98 per cent cotton, and infused with negative ion (google WebMd) which is scientifically known to help reduce pain, odour and bacteria.

Our mission is to bring awareness to the world and it begins in our community first.

Testimonials from women around the world, including Jamaica, confirm the need for this information. Once our women 'know' better, they can say 'no' to the substandard products they are forced to buy every month.

Women, this is your time to take charge of your health. Now that you know better, you can do better. Say no to what exists and yes to the new, healthier you!
