Rain and more rain

Published:Saturday | October 3, 2015 | 12:00 AM
Motorists try to make their way through the flood waters on Old Hope Road in St Andrew during a downpour yesterday.

The Meteorological Service is warning Jamaicans to brace for more rain today as a trough induced by Hurricane Joaquin continues to move across Jamaica and the central Caribbean.

The trough is expected to linger across the central Caribbean for the next three days, causing a partly cloudy morning with isolated showers across northern parishes and widely scattered afternoon showers and thunderstorms today.

Flooding is possible over some low-lying and flood-prone areas.
