If there is one thing you want Jamaica to know about lupus, what would that be?

Lois Murray - attorney-at-law and treasurer of the Lupus Foundation of Jamaica: "Lupus can affect anybody, but you can still have a good life."

Dr Stacy Davis - consultant rheumatologist and president of the Lupus Foundation of Jamaica: "Lupus will reach you one day, whether it's a family member or some distant person you know. Therefore, it is imperative to understand the condition, be sensitive to it, and appreciate the need for everybody's participation."

Eaton McKoy - lupus survivor: "Lupus has been very hard for me, and so I'm encouraging persons to practise healthy lifestyles."

Dr Charmaine Watson-Brown - nephrologist: "Systemic lupus erythematosus is a chronic inflammatory disorder that affects a significant portion of our society and presents significant challenges both physically and financially."

Dr Desiree Tulloch Reid - consultant rheumatologist and lupus specialist: "You are not alone. If you have lost somebody with lupus or battling with the disorder, there is support."
