Scores of persons were left homeless yesterday as fire, allegedly started by a child who was left home alone, destroyed premises at 52 Church Street in downtown Kingston.

The blaze, which started in the mid-afternoon at the back of the premises on Mark Lane, ravaged everything in its path as firefighters struggled to extinguish it.

Our news team was early on the scene and captured the images as persons rushed to save their belongings while the fire raged.
