Gleaner Editors' forum panel offers advice to new PM

With Prime Minister Andrew Holness taking office on Thursday, a panel of guests at a Gleaner Editors' Forum offered advice to the new prime minister in a 'Message to Andrew'.
Frank Phipps: "Stand the course for your five years."
Professor Rosalea Hamilton: "Build consensus and make sure that you respond to the people."
Bert Samuels: "Your fixed (election) date term policy cannot be changed, although you have such a slim majority."
Dr Paul Ashley: "If you don't make April 1 the payday, you going to suck salt."
Maxine Henry-Wilson: "Protect those gains which we have made as a nation (and) don't let them be subjected to partisan preferences."
