Don Wehby yesterday became the 13th government senator to be sworn in at Gordon House.
The former Jamaica Labour Party government minister took the oath of allegiance during a sitting of the Upper House.
Wehby is no stranger to legislative work, having been appointed a senator by former Prime Minister Bruce Golding in 2007. He was also appointed a minister without portfolio in the Ministry of Finance under the Golding administration.
In his first stint as a lawmaker, Wehby completed 21 months as a senator and government minister before returning to the private sector.
