JUTC offering shuttle service to Denbigh

The Jamaica Urban Transit Company (JUTC) is once again offering shuttle service to the annual three-day Denbigh Agricultural, Industrial and Food Show in Clarendon.

The 2016 Denbigh show will be held on July 30, July 31, and August 1, and the JUTC's shuttle service will operate on all three days from the Half-Way Tree Transport Centre, the Spanish Town Lay-By, and from the Portmore Mall.

Buses will depart the Half-Way Tree Transport Centre on all three days at 8:30 a.m. and 11 a.m.

From the Spanish Town Lay-By, the buses will depart at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m., and from Portmore Mall, departure will be at 9 a.m. and midday.

Buses will leave on the return trips from Denbigh at 7 p.m. and 10 p.m.

The JUTC is advising that patrons who take the earlier trips to Denbigh are required to depart from Denbigh on the 7 p.m. buses.

DISCOUNTED FARES

The JUTC is offering a discount on the fares to patrons who purchase their tickets before July 29. The discounted fares are $1,200 for adults and $1,000 for children each day.

The fares, when paid on days of the show, are $1,500 for adults and $1,200 for children each day.

Ticket outlets are: the Half-Way Tree Transport Centre; the Spanish Town Lay-By; the Portmore Office at Shop # 126B; Greater Portmore Shopping Centre; and the JUTC downtown Kingston Hub at 9 East Parade.
