The upturn in violence in West Kingston has resulted in the shooting of five persons on Bread Lane yesterday morning, leaving the area tense.
The police said one of the victims died while the others remained in hospital.
The five were reportedly at home when at about 10:30 a.m., gunmen entered the yard and opened fire, hitting them.
There has been an uptick in violence in west Kingston since Friday's shooting of a son of convicted drug kingpin, Christopher 'Dudus' Coke and two others.
