SDA elder charged with having sex with a minor remanded

An elder from the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Heywood Hall, St Mary, made his first appearance in court yesterday afternoon, after being charged with three counts of sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl.
During the hearing, which took place at the parish court in Port Maria, Narry Hudson was remanded until February 13, following allegations that members of his family had threatened members of the claimants' family.
Hudson, 41, was arrested on January 31 by the Centre for the Investigation of Sexual Offences and Child Abuse following allegations that he had committed unlawful sexual acts with an underage girl.
