Twenty-six-year-old Omar Graham was charged on Wednesday afternoon with the murder of Barbara Moncrieffe, co-owner of Moncrieffe's Patio Shop, located along Old Hope Road.

In addition, Graham was also slapped with three counts of wounding with intent for seriously injuring Moncrieffe's husband, Vassel, and two teenage employees who came to the aid of the elderly couple.

It is alleged that Graham, an employee, entered the business place shortly after midday last Friday and immediately inflicted stab wounds on all four persons, killing Barbara on the spot.

Both Vassel and his 19-year-old acting assistant manager required emergency surgery as a result of the bizarre attack.

The teen remains hospitalised at the Kingston Public Hospital, while Moncrieffe was released from the University Hospital of the West Indies.

Graham, otherwise called 'Brown Man', of an Alexander Road, Kingston 11 address, is scheduled to appear in the Kingston and St Andrew Parish Court on Tuesday, April 4.
