Harvest Tabernacle church evicted from Ferry property owned by NCB
The Harvest Tabernacle Christian Endeavour Ministries was this morning evicted from a property owned by the National Commercial Bank (NCB) at Ferry in St Catherine.
Members of the church were seen clearing items from the building as a bailiff turned up to claim possession of the property.
Pastor Boswell Raymond told The Gleaner that the administrators of the neighbouring Hydel Group of Schools have allowed the church to store its things there for this week.

An upset Raymond also said church services will be held at Hydel at least for this Sunday.
He also said the church will be approaching the Urban Development Corporation regarding nearby lands.
The church has been in a dispute with NCB after the bank moved to regain possession of the property.
The church claimed it was in negotiation with NCB to buy the property and had paid over some $14 million in a vendor's mortgage.
However, the bank dismissed the claim.
