NWC warns of service disruption in St Andrew

Published:Thursday | December 28, 2017 | 12:00 AM

The National Water Commission (NWC) is advising that customers served by the Constant Spring Treatment plant in St Andrew will possibly experience reduced water pressures today.

It says the disruption between 9 o’clock this morning and 5 o’clock in the afternoon, is because of scheduled maintenance work by the Jamaica Public Service Company.

The areas to be affected:
Constant Spring
Norbrook
Cherry Gardens
Havendale
Half-Way Tree
Lady Musgrave
Liguanea
Manor Park
Shortwood
Acadia
Belgrade
Eastwood Park Gardens
Hughenden
Stillwell Road

The NWC is urging customers to store water for use during the period.

It says regular water supply will be restored following the restoration of electricity to the area.
