Brace for more rain!

Much more rain is in the forecast for today and is projected to last through to National Heroes Day, the Meteorological Service of Jamaica has advised.

This is because the trough across the central Caribbean, which has been generating unstable weather conditions across Jamaica, will continue to bring more showers, especially in the afternoon when an increase in rainfall is very likely.

"The forecast is for periods of showers and thunderstorms, which could be heavy at times, to continue affecting sections of most parishes on Friday through National Heroes Day on Monday, especially during the afternoons," it warned in a release yesterday.
