Because of you... Dalton Harris sends message to his X Factor fans

In the final hours leading up to his last performance in the UK X Factor, the front-runner, Jamaican Dalton Harris declared that now he's so much better and urged fans to pay attention to his melody if his words don't come together.

But his words came together beautifully as he thanked his fans in the UK and Jamaica for their continued support. 

"Because of you the public, I have been able to live out my dreams of becoming an international artiste," he said.

Harris is among the three finalists in the talent competition which culminates with the announcement of a winner this afternoon.

The live results show will be aired on Television Jamaica starting at 2.30 p.m.

Harris, the 2010 Digicel Rising Stars winner, is up against the United Kingdom's Scarlett Lee and Anthony Russell.

He is vying for a coveted record deal that could open up the doors to the international career he has been dreaming of.

Harris, who has been described by at least one judge as "an absolute mega-star" could become the second Jamaican to win an international talent competition after Tessanne Chin.

She won the American competition The Voice in 2013.

Yesterday, Harris gave his all in the final performances as he turned in two spectacular appearances.

First, he sang solo A Song for You and then he shared the stage in a duet with Emile Sande singing Beneath Your Beautiful.

The performances earned Harris another standing ovation and sustained applause from the audience.
