Upon entering the polling station, electors will have their temperatures checked and hands sanitised. All electors must be wearing a face mask.

. Present your voter’s ID card and follow the instructions of the presiding officer. An elector without a voter’s ID card will be allowed to vote once his/her name can be found on the voters’ list and identity can be confirmed.

. Electors will be asked to temporarily remove their face mask for identification purposes.

. Electors at polling stations that use the Electronic Voter Identification and Ballot Issuing System (EVIBIS) will be asked to place a specific finger on a fingerprint scanner.

. A ballot will be issued following verification of identity.

. Proceed to the voting booth and clearly mark an ‘X’ for the candidate of your choice in the space provided. Be sure to use the pencil provided.

. Place the pencil in the box marked ‘used pencil’ as instructed by the presiding officer. Each pencil will be sanitised after use.

. Fold the ballot twice, as instructed by the presiding officer, to protect the secrecy of your vote, leaving the flap out.

. Give the folded ballot to the presiding officer so that he or she can detach the flap.

. Sanitise your hands before dipping your right index finger in the integrity ink.

. Observe as your unopened ballot is put in the ballot box.

. Leave the polling station in a peaceful manner.
