Christmas with Shenseea | Dancehall diva all into ham and fam

Dancehall darling Shenseea can’t wait to sink her teeth into slices of ham this Christmas as the Romeich Entertainment first lady will be celebrating the holidays with her team and family.
The bodacious Boom ambassador and philanthropist was in Braeton Meadows last Friday where she teamed up with her energy drink sponsors and charity Food For The Poor in handing over a brand-new house to retired postal worker Joan Willie.
“Romeich Entertainment is actually like a family to me, and other family members as well,” the 24-year-old songbird told The Gleaner on the sidelines of Friday’s charity event.
“We just coming up together, play some games, eat some ham, food, cook, and just, yeah, chill.”
Christmas in 2020 will differ greatly from the traditional festivities of mass family gatherings and party-hopping because of the coronavirus pandemic, which has infected more than 12,200 people here and killed 286.
This year has also been particularly hard on Shenseea personally, with her mom passing away in June.
The spirit of Christmas, Shenseea said, has always centred around family. She added that the Yuletide season invokes thoughts of love, happiness, and celebration.
The Blessed and Good Comfort singer said she is fully aware of the hardships that many Jamaicans and their families have endured this year, but is urging them to keep the faith and pray.
“No matter what you go through, I know it’s been hard but you can’t give up as long as we have life. And if you are reading or hearing this interview right now, it means that you are able to make it right alongside God,” Shenseea said.
The entertainer will also spend Christmas distributing tablets to needy students islandwide.
