Three shot dead, four injured during security camera installation

The police say shortly after 8 p.m, workmen were installing surveillance cameras at the D and K Supermarket in Santoy Square when four attackers posing as customers walked in.

Hanover police investigators are now probing Wednesday night's shooting of seven men, three fatally in Santoy district, Logwood, in the parish.

The identities of the men were not immediately ascertained. 

The police say shortly after 8 p.m, workmen were installing surveillance cameras at the D and K Supermarket in Santoy Square when four attackers posing as customers walked in. 

They reportedly pulled handguns and opened fire hitting the workmen installing the cameras and other persons near the entrance of the supermarket. 

Two of the gunmen also reportedly chased some of the victims to the rear of the supermarket and shot them. 

The injured victims were rushed to the Noel Holmes Hospital in Lucea, where three were pronounced dead.

The other four have been admitted in serious condition.
