Rainforest’s Brian Jardim to be inducted into MBCCI Wall of Fame

Brian Jardim, the founder and CEO of Rainforest Caribbean, is set to be inducted into the Montego Bay Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MBCCI) Honours Business Leader Wall of Fame.
In a release, the MBCCI said Jardim will be celebrated for his remarkable contributions to Jamaica’s business landscape and his philanthropic efforts at the 92nd Annual MBCCI Awards Banquet at the Montego Bay Convention Centre on December 7.
Jardim will be joining an impressive list of previous inductees, who include Anthony ‘Tony’ Hart, the visionary behind the creation of the Montego Bay Freeport; Gordon ‘Butch’ Stewart, the founder of Sandals Resort International; transport pioneer Ralph Smith, who created Tropical Tours Limited; B. D. Dadlani, renowned in-bond merchant; land developer Joe Whitter, the creator of Whitter Village; businessman and hotelier Godfrey Dyer; renowned land surveyor Winston Deer; and Mark Hart, the visionary behind Caribbean Producers Jamaica Limited (CPJ).
The MBCCI release said Jardim is a trailblazer in the Caribbean seafood industry whose leadership has made Rainforest Caribbean into a regional powerhouse, setting the standard in quality, sustainability, and innovation.
“Beyond his business acumen, Jardim is widely recognised for his dedication to uplifting communities and supporting numerous charitable causes, embodying the spirit of corporate social responsibility at the highest level,” it added.
Oral Heaven, president of the MBCCI, said Jardim exemplifies what it means to be a business leader with a purpose, using his entrepreneurial achievements to lift himself to a position of excellence.
“His entrepreneurial achievements and commitment to community development reflect the values we cherish and aim to promote in Montego Bay and across Jamaica. It is an honour to welcome him to our Business Leader Wall of Fame, where he joins a legacy of visionary leaders who have made significant impacts on their industries and communities,” said Heaven.
The MBCCI Annual Awards Banquet, where Jardim will be elevated in esteemed company, is one of the chamber’s most anticipated events as it brings together business leaders, government officials, and community members to celebrate achievements across various sectors.
According to the MBCCI release, attendees at the banquet will have the opportunity to recognise the achievements of Jardim and other honourees while enjoying a night of networking, fine dining, and entertainment.
