Beef with NCB over profit-making policies
THE EDITOR, Sir:
I was happy to see your Letter of the Day 'NCB's unfair billing practices', published Thursday, August 2, 2018. Las May understands it much better than I do.
Albeit my limited knowledge on some financial matters, based on NCB's dealings with my mother's Omni Educator, I know for a fact that the bank has been less than fair.
When I saw them gloating on the news about their billions in profit, I was actually sick to the stomach to know that this company is satisfied about making lots of money off its investors/customers.
Luckily for Las May, he can withdraw his money; my mother can't. Unfortunately, she has dementia. Las May lost approximately $30,000. The way I see it, based on my poor mother's policy, we are foreseeing that nothing will be left. Notwithstanding, I want my mother pass the 100 mark! (She is now 84).
