Don't be swayed by PNP, Prime Minister

Published:Friday | August 17, 2018 | 12:00 AM

THE EDITOR, Sir:

This is an open letter to Prime Minister Andrew Holness.

Mr PM, you are on the right path with development in this country - a place where I want my grandchildren to live and play.

Mr PM, the People's National Party will always oppose everything you do. The people of this country see how you have transformed some infrastructure to make their lives much better.

When the Jamaica Labour Party Government ask the Opposition to sign off on an extension of the state of the emergency in 2010, the PNP members of parliament refused to approve it, allowing the criminals to find safe heaven in other communities.

The police MUST tackle this monster with force (within the law). Where is the commissioner? Some police personnel are associated with criminals, and that's why it's hard for the others to solve crime.

Mr PM, continue doing the great job you are doing.
