Malahoo Forte made a hash of NIDS defence

It's not the National Identification System (NIDS) that's the problem, it's the attorney general. The chief justice's questions weren't that insightful, and some were quite flippant. They could easily have been answered satisfactorily.
The Jamaican people are already sceptical about this new system, mainly because they are uninformed.
She needed to hit a home run. Instead, she gave us a shockingly befuddled performance. Frankly, I am flabbergasted.
I hope this is not the death knell to a programme that, if implemented properly and comprehensively, can be so transformational that it could usher in a new Jamaican renaissance, with respect to economic growth and efficient security protocols. I am not overstating this.
Marlene Malahoo Forte has given us a mere inkling of the sort of laziness and slovenliness that characterises government.
They really think they are on an extended vacation. Let me remind them that they were elected to work hard in the interest of the Jamaican people.
