The second weekend lockdown ended on Tuesday, April 6. We asked The Gleaner’s social media followers what was their experience under the extended curfew. Here are some of the responses.

Not good because me cannot go work.

– Dyedye Queen

Not so quiet on my road because of some idlers on bikes making a lot of noise. I was wondering if there was a lockdown.

– Maureen Williams

The bikes are such a nuisance.

– Natantra Simpson

Horrible, worst weekend ever! Couldn’t even get my favourite or second or third favourite items at the shop as well.

– Johnson D’shane

Bwoy, hunger nearly kill mi.

– Sewelyn Stressfree Dawkins

Just stay home and eat bun and cheese and also get some good rest.

– Thania James

Didn’t notice ‘cause I don’t go anywhere. Nothing new.

– Melissa Wellington

It was great. I didn’t have a problem with it.

– Sophia Bennett

I get some real rest.

– Beverly Campbell

Just a long weekend. Nothing else.

– Sheree Buckley

Work, rest, eat, sleep and use Internet.

– Vanessa White

Run out a food

– Karlene White

It was not enough food as a poor man but I made it, thank God.

– @huntervernan

I love it. Hope we will have more. Good job, PM .

– @doreenwilson79

The only people affected by the lockdown were those who need to hustle the day so they can nyam that night.
