Maintain law and order in communities

THE EDITOR, Madam:

It is a common practice in most inner-city communities to have small shops built on the sidewalk with half of the shop actually in the road. I recently witnessed one such road, Barrett Drive in August Town, being repaved. The National Works Agency team had to pave around the part of the shop in the road.
