Trump needs to come back stronger

THE EDITOR, Madam:

Sincere condolences to family, friends and loved ones of the victims tragically killed at a Republican rally in the US. Prayers also go out to the Trump family; they’ve been through a lot. The guy was millimetres away from being six feet under, God surely intervened and said, “ I am not ready for you yet”.

He should’ve been dragged off that stage and transported away from there in seconds. He shouldn’t have been allowed to get his shoe, pump his fists, expose his face and say “fight, fight, fight”. What if there was another shooter at a different location, they would’ve had a second chance, probably a better shot.

Biden, the Obamas, the Democrats and the media can be blamed in this unfortunate incident. They were the ones who took away Trump’s right to protection by the Secret Service, calling him an existential threat, a threat to democracy, the instigator of WW3.

They have influenced the local media and the minds in Trinidad and Tobago as well. When the Democrats can’t have their way via discussion, logic and debate, they resort to violence. The question now is – what if?

No more violence, peace through strength. The world needs Mr Trump – he needs to come back stronger than ever.
