Some Comrades convinced Vybz Kartel can attract voters to the PNP

In most democracies, it is strong, alternative policies from the opposition party, which attract voters and inspire the people to vote for the alternative to the incumbent. Here in Jamaica, no such value proposition seems to exist. Instead, this is the Opposition’s trump card! – @Zemi66

What can go so in Michael Manley‘s party? death before destruction. – @canthonyedwards

Isn’t this an admission that Golding’s and the PNP’s political message has not connected, so now they have to draw for celebrity culture? – @ja_cynic

How popular is Kartel among sub 30 year olds? – @Bertitude

With or without Kartel, Mark Golding will become the next PM of Jamaica. – @willryanwilson

Probably work against them more than for them. - @pinkyyyyyyyy____

If this is what it will take to attract voters to the party, then wi corna very dark, very dark! – @the_rebel_ladyk

Any one who votes because either party brings out a popular artiste at their conference doesn’t want any good for Jamaica. What about voting for the better policies, track record over the years, plans etc? So how are we going to get or demand better if we vote base on personality and not policies smh Jamaicans need to wake up and stop putting party over country. Substance over hype, simple. – @chris_sophisticated14

My honest question is what is Andrew Holness not doing that y’all think Mark can do better? I see rapid development going on in the country. If you living in Jamaica and can’t make use of all that development that’s going on then that’s a personal problem. There is free trade school training. No matter what government comes in power if you don’t seek out the opportunities and make yourself better nothing will change for you. Just look around you and you will see how many investors rushing to the country.

Don’t sit there and say the government not doing nothing for you. Rather than spend your money in clubs and parties throwing bottle of liquor on the ground invest in some real estate, invest in your community. [Fighting] crime needs a community approach.

Meaning, everyone will have to take a stance against crime, it’s your community be ready to tell criminals y’all not welcome here. The concept that if you report crime to the police they will tell back the criminal is an excuse not to help your community. The reality is criminals thrive on your fear and silence. It’s your vote but please don’t let the popularity of any entertainer convince you who to vote for. And no matter who is in power as a people we should be ready to help that person lead the country to a better place. Not every policy that a prime minister makes will benefit you personally. While some ppl are still working hard and not feeling the benefits, you can’t give up. – @dwaynefunlife
