This is not your traditional DIY Jo. Today I will like to share with you five oils that I just cannot live without.

Argan Oil

This is a must have. The fragrance is very pleasant, and it is perfect for both your hair and skin. At nights you can use a drop or two as a facial moisturiser. Rub it upwards on your cheeks and wake up with a glow. After consistent use, you will notice how healthy your skin is. It is also great for your hair as it stimulates growth and is a great moisturiser.

Lavender Oil

This is the superstar of essential oils. It is great for eczema, and your scalp, but the best thing about it is its relaxing properties. If you have trouble sleeping, a little in a diffuser or a few drops on a cotton ball placed on your pillow will relax you and have you asleep in no time.

Growth, growth and more growth. If you have any problem with your hair, a little Jamaican Castor Oil on your scalp every other day truly goes a far way.

Tea tree oil

Eczema is something that plagues me- especially my scalp. Tee tree oil mixed with peppermint oil is the only thing that works. You can decide to spend thousands on dandruff shampoos or you can add a few drops of tea tree oil to some carrier oil (castor oil is my choice) and apply to scalp and you will be amazed how much it improves.

Rosemary Oil

This is great for hair growth and scalp health, but it has another super power — as a decongestant. If you suffer from sinusitis or you have allergies, drop a few drops in your shower and inhale. Stuffy at nights? Place it in a diffuser or on a cotton ball so that your room is filled with the aroma of this oil. You will find that you will breathe a little easier.
