'Twas Trending ... Gaza vs Hanna, and Alaine ties the knot?

Member of Parliament Lisa Hanna, came under some serious fire, after it was alleged that she said that Vybz Kartel’s music should be banned from the airwaves because he was recording behind bars. The Gaza family from all walks of life took to Hanna’s social media page to share their disgust in colourful language following up with the refrain #freeworldboss. It was an unfortunate ordeal, considering that they took what she said out of context. And we hope that in the end, we can all just get along.

Crushed Dreams

Nesbeth’s Dream turned into a 'nightmare' last Saturday when he lost out of a Youth View Award to, you guessed right, Vybz Kartel. The artist took to social media to voice his anger and disappointment over his loss, crying foul on the part of organisers. His video went viral and Gaza fans responded to the singer, calling him a sore loser.

Oh Snap: Whatsnap

The jury is still out as to whether or not Whatapp's Snapchat feature was a good move. Some welcomed the upgrade with open arms while others have decided to ignore that icon altogether. Either way, this new addition to the Whatsapp family was trending.

Alaine says I Do?

We still don’t know if this is a hoax or the real deal, but singer Alaine revealed via her social media that she tied the knot with Kenyan artist Willy Pauly in Nairobi. While some have gone on to share the picture and offer their congratulations, many are saying it's a publicity stunt for a new music video. If that were the case, then they got us good! So do we say congrats just yet? Let’s just wait and see.
