Getting the summer glow

There is no time like the summer and what better season to glow? 

When it comes to makeup for the summer, going natural is one of the top trends. But for those of us who still want to be glamorous, using the bare minimum is recommended- you don't want your makeup melting away in the summer heat now do you? 

To get that summer glow, make up artist Casandra Smith-Scott, recommends highlighting your t-zone and cheekbones and this will have you looking like a goddess. 

If you love playing with your eyes, this is the season to pull out the colours in your arsenal - light pinks, orange and plums. Using these to create a smokey eyes as shown by Smith-Scott, is definitely on trend. 

Also, feel free to not hold back on the shimmer. Do not do it all at once — remember, we are doing minimalism- just one area with a bit of colour and enjoy your summer. Glow ‘sistas’ glow.
