Bonafide — A bigger better burger

First they brought you Happy Foods, now they’re introducing a bigger, better burger!

CB Foods’ continues to change the way Jamaicans eat, with their latest offering -Bonafide Burgers. A healthier burger option made with 100 per cent real meat locally sourced and made without any artificial ingredients, preservatives or fillers.  

Supporting home-grown is an important principle under the Live Better campaign, as it reduces the country’s import bill, creates jobs and provides greater food security. 

Bonafide Burgers signals CB Foods’ interest and commitment to reviving the local beef industry, which once employed thousands island wide.

Working alongside local farmers, Bonafide burgers are made with the brisket and sirloin trimmings from Jamaica Red and Jamaica Black Poll cows, which are fed a carefully balanced diet of nutritious Nutramix feeds and grass. This guarantees a tasty, premium beef patty, the Bonafide way.  

Consumers will first experience Bonafide Burgers in two beef flavours — straight beef and spicy Scotch bonnet. Each package will contain four, 4oz patties; all handmade with local ingredients and distinct seasonings like Jamaican pimento, fresh Jamaican Scotch bonnet pepper and thyme — to name a few.

Set to hit the shelves tomorrow June 30 with a six week exclusive agreement with Progressive Foods, Loshusan, Sovereign, Brooklyn and John R. Wong supermarkets.

Once the introductory phase is complete, the company plans to extend its reach island wide, and will also release a Jamaican Honey pork burger, as well as a chicken burger.
